For the jetsetters among us

wynnFor those  immune to the recession, Wynn Las Vegas is  offering  a posh travel package from Burbank.

The Jetsetter Getaway Package, available through November, includes a three-night stay at Wynn or Encore and roundtrip transportation via in a 50-seat jet from Bob Hope or John Wayne airports.

Packages from Burbank start at $780, per person, double occupancy, and $1,193, per person, single occupancy, including taxes and fees.

Perhaps this will help Bob Hope bring its passenger numbers up.

Some of those not mentioned in our printed story in today’s Leader are the Shag Jag from “Austin Powers Goldmember,” Nerd Herd Car from “Chuck,” and the hover copter from “AI: Artificial Intelligence.” Read the rest of this entry »
