Woman jumps to her death at Burbank Holiday Inn
A woman leaped to her death tonight from the 18th floor of the Holiday Inn Burbank-Media Center, Burbank police said.
Officers responded about 8:10 p.m. Saturday to the hotel at 150 E. Angeleno Ave. where a small group of people had gathered near the body.
The death is being treated as a suicide and police believe the woman was a Burbank resident, Sgt. Brian Llewellyn said.
Hotel staff confirmed to police that a woman had checked in and requested the highest room available. The area was cordoned off to coroners and police were preparing to leave about 11:30 p.m.
